Social event – Murder Mystery evening

Social events are an important part of the choir activities in the Chester  area and beyond, and when possible, we like to share them with others.  Come along for a fun packed evening!

Why not organise a party of eight and have a table for your group? If fewer than eight,  just join other tables.Murd

Songs from the Great War – Come & join in at Ashton Hayes Village Fete Sat 12th July

The choir will also be singing at the Ashton Village Fete  this year. For the 100th anniversary of the start of the First World War, the choir will be singing a selection of songs sung by the troops in the trenches.

There will be many familiar songs, or songs with choruses which have been passed to us down over the years. Come along & listen – or even join in! More details to follow.

    Ken Hughes

    Ken Hughes

Following the  first presentation of the Ken Hughes Order of Merit last year, it was with great pleasure to the choir that in December 2014, Rosemary Oulton became our second recipient.

One  could say she was, and remains, a stalwart of the choir as the Award recognises the

    50 years

that she has been a member of this choir – We hope there will be many more!
