Concert At Woodhey Hotel, Hooton. 8.00 Pm By Invitation – We were asked to provide the After Dinner Entertainment for a private party here.
It provided an opportunity to show for the first time our repertoire for Prague. With the support of Margaret Corlett, our gifted accompanist, we worked through a range of pieces, from sacred music to songs from films.
As part of the performance, Spencer Pierce, one of our top basses, performed a couple of pieces solo, engaging the audience with his singing and patter, and they joined in with gusto! Spencer is well accustomed to performing – It is said that he has been doing it for eighty years, though some say he does not look over forty!

Thank you all so much for giving us a wonderful concert this evening. My group really enjoyed it and it has been such a relaxing sort of evening after our busy day out in Liverpool. Have a great time in Prague. Regards,
