Alan has been a long time supporter of our choir and has help us organize many events over the years, not only in Tarvin but behind the scenes in most of our concerts and event. For that reason the committee, when approached, was delighted to be able to contribute to his leaving present. Below is a short note from Irene in response:
Alan Wilkinson retired after 11 years on the Committee of Tarvin Community Centre last night.
It was a nice evening attended by various groups who use the Community Centre,including Elaine who was invited as Chairman of KC.
Alan was very touched to receive a Cadac BBQ set from the TCC Committee and Several local organisations contributed towards it including KC.
Thought you might like to see it erected.
We are looking forward to using it when we are away in the caravan.
