The Choir - About us

The Kelsborrow Choir takes its name from Kelsborrow Hill near Chester in the county of Cheshire. In 2016 the Choir celebrated its 60th Anniversary . Our music is varied, we sing songs from the musicals, some jazz and spirituals, together with more modern songs. From time to time we also sing some classical and church music – Something for everyone!

Recently we have performed at

The King’s School, Chester, Priors Hayes Golf Club, Cheshire Eaton Hall in Cheshire, Hammond School, Chester Colwyn Bay, North Wales Kelsall and Tarvin, Cheshire On the River Dee, at the Meadows in Chester Mold, Clwyd We also go out to supermarkets and other venues around Chester and Ellesmere Port carol singing at Christmas We celebrated our 60th Anniversary with a concert in Chester Cathedral, with the prize winning Roberts Bakery Band from Northwich
