Call My Bluff – 7th Jan 2020
A brilliant social start to the year. On Tuesday 7th January the choir started 2020 with a social event – “Call my Bluff”. Based on the old TV quiz show panel members took turns in defining obscure words, and tables competed with each other in trying to decide which definition (or panel member) was most trustworthy.
No prizes for the winning table, or Oscars for the mendacity (or could it be obloquy, calumniation, hyperbole?) of the panel members – just a lot of laughs!
Rounded off with refreshments, a good start to what will be a n eventful year, with concerts and a planned trip to a choir in Holland.
Many thanks to the organisers and those taking part.
