The Choir also performs overseas.  Strong links have been established with choirs in Holland, France, Germany and Russia.  They made a tour of Holland in 1995 with the Christian Male Voice Choir from Vriezenveen and performed with the ladies choir Elegyfrom St. Petersburg in both Chester and in Holland.

In 1996 they welcomed the Chorale Trait d’Union from the Lot et Garonne region of France, followed by a return visit the following year and in 1999 they hosted a visit by singers from Eichen in Germany. A major concert with the choirs from France and Holland took place in Chester Cathedral in May 2000 to celebrate the Millennium. In October 2004 the Kelsborrow Choir visited Germany and Holland again, where performances were given in Eichen in the Black Forest jointly with the Gesangverein Eichen and at Vriezenveen in the Netherlands.

While staying with their friends in Eichen the Choir also gave an open air performance in the city of Lörrach, Chester’s new Twin Town.
